AI recruiting tools and platforms: what each one costs in 2026
We read the pricing page of each of the 23 tools below on October 7, 2026. 15 publish a price; the cheapest monthly plans among them run from $15 to $499. The other 8 publish no price; you get one after a sales call.
AIRecruiter.co is published by HeroHunt.ai, which makes one of the tools listed here. Its price is shown by the same rule as every other: as published on its own pricing page, read the same day. No maker paid to appear or to be left out. About our independence
Published prices, by kind of tool
Each price is copied from the maker's own pricing page on October 7, 2026, in the currency and billing it shows, before tax, and each description is the maker's own. A tool's name links to the page we read; prices change, so the linked page is the current word.

Five ways AI recruiting tools are priced
The unit matters more than the headline number: the same budget buys very different amounts of work depending on whether you pay per recruiter, per interview or per hire.
- 7 of 23 tools
Per seat
A price per recruiter a month, usually with a monthly allowance of contact credits. Check the allowance against how many candidates you will contact, not only the seat price.
- 6 of 23 tools
Per plan
A flat monthly fee for an allowance of interviews, candidates or credits, with a set price for each unit beyond it. The unit price falls as the plan grows.
- 1 of 23 tools
Per open role
A price for each position open at the same time, with unlimited seats. It suits teams with few roles and many people involved in each.
- 3 of 23 tools
Per hire
Paid only for the candidates you hire, like an agency fee, with screening included. Some publish the rate; others quote it for your volume.
- 6 of 23 tools
Quote only
No public price: a sales call, then a contract priced by seats, modules, volume and term. The published plans here are the benchmark to bring to it.
What the price buys back
A tool's price is small next to the work it targets. These Index figures size that work; our recruiting ROI calculator turns them and your own costs into a break-even.
Applications per hire
It now takes roughly 291 applications to make one hire, a flood that reshapes screening economics.
Tripled from about 100 in early 2021.
Hires per recruiter per quarter
Recruiter productivity recovered to about 7.3 hires per quarter, rebounding from a trough of 4.5 in early 2023.
Up from a 4.5 trough in early 2023.
Median time to fill, nonexecutive roles
SHRM's benchmark for ordinary (nonexecutive) requisitions, the figure most hiring teams actually plan against. Executive roles run longer, at a median of 45 days.
Down from 44 days in 2025.
Workload cut for recruiters using GenAI
Recruiters using generative AI report a 20% drop in workload, equivalent to recovering one full workday every week.
Cost-per-hire reduction from AI in recruiting
The average return organizations actually get, alongside about 31% faster hiring, well below the up-to-70% ceiling vendors advertise, though these figures are widely cited but lack a confirmable primary study.
Candidates abandoning an AI interview process
38% of candidates have walked away from a hiring process because it included an AI interview, with another 12% saying they would.
How to get a fair price
Know which tier you are buying in
Published plans are built for teams that buy without a sales cycle. 8 of the 23 tools here publish no price and quote after a sales call, by seats, modules, volume and contract length. Until the first quote arrives, the published prices of smaller rivals are your benchmark.
Price the unit you will actually use
A seat price means little until you set it against the plan's allowance: the contact credits in a sourcing plan, the interviews in an interviewer plan. Count how many candidates you will contact or screen in a month and price that, overage included.
Pilot two finalists on real roles
Run two shortlisted tools on two of your own open roles over the same weeks, tell both it is a competitive evaluation, and compare the shortlists, reply rates and recruiter hours rather than the demos.
Choose annual or monthly billing on purpose
Paying monthly costs 7% to 40% more on the plans that show both prices, but annual billing commits you for a year in a market that changes fast. Pay monthly while you pilot and annually once a tool has earned it.
Get exit terms in writing
Talent tech consolidates quickly (Workday bought Paradox in 2025). Make sure candidate data and search history can be exported, keep the term no longer than you can predict the product, and ask what happens to your contract if the vendor is acquired.
Questions buyers ask
How much do AI recruiting tools cost?
Of the 23 AI recruiting tools we checked on October 7, 2026, 15 publish a price on their own site; the cheapest monthly plans among them run from $15 to $499. Tools sold per seat start at $15 a seat a month, and the AI interviewers that publish prices sell monthly plans with an allowance of interviews. The other 8 publish no price; you get one after a sales call.
Which AI recruiting tools publish their prices?
Juicebox, HeroHunt.ai, hireEZ, SeekOut, Pin, Fetcher, Perfect (GoPerfect), Ribbon, Classet, CodeSignal, Gem, Loxo, Recruiterflow, Manatal and Jack & Jill publish prices on their own pricing pages. LinkedIn Recruiter, Alex, Sapia.ai, HireVue, Paradox (Workday), ConverzAI, Eightfold AI and Findem ask for a sales call instead.
Is there a free AI recruiting tool?
Juicebox and Pin have a free plan, with limits set out on the maker's pricing page. HeroHunt.ai, hireEZ, SeekOut, Classet, Loxo and Manatal offer a free trial. Free plans are capped (a few searches, contacts or interviews), so they test a tool rather than run hiring on it.
What does an AI interviewer cost per interview?
On the published interview plans we checked, $2.00 to $4.99 per included interview, falling as the plan grows, with a set price for each interview beyond the allowance. Per-hire and enterprise prices are not published.
Is it cheaper to pay for an AI recruiting tool annually?
Yes, on every plan we checked that shows both prices: paying monthly costs 7% to 40% more than paying annually. Annual billing is the price most pages show first.
